The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to outstanding students from around the world who plan to study in the United States.  The plan offers a three-year fellowship grant of $35,000 per year.  Last date to try is 15th January every year.  This program is open to students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a US college or university.

  Requirements for the Humphrey Fellowship include outstanding academic performance, a proven commitment to public service, and a record of leadership and community involvement.  The program also seeks applicants from conflict or disaster zones, as well as countries with low literacy rates or no secondary school education.

Applicants should submit an online application form and complete an application questionnaire.  They should also provide letters of recommendation and transcripts from all colleges and universities.  Applicants will also need to take two systematize tests: the ACT or SAT exams.

  UWE Millennium Fellowship 2023 for multinational Students

International students interested in studying agriculture at a UK university can try for the UWE Millennium Scholarship.  This scholarship is available to non-EU students enrolled full-time on a course leading to a degree in Agricultural Sciences or related subjects at a UK university.

 

The scholarship is worth £5,000 per year, and can be applied towards tuition fees, living costs, and other costs associated with attending university in the UK.  The application deadline is January 15 each year, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  ICRA – International Courses for Agricultural Professionals

International Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) provides an excellent chance for students interested in agricultural sciences.  ICAR offers a variety of courses covering various topics including plant science, animal science, and agricultural sciences.

The most popular degrees offered by ICAR include: Plant Production and Physiology, Soil Science and Fertility, Animal Production Systems, and Agroforestry.  Every year, ICAR offers more than 1,000 scholarships to students from all over the world.

DAAD Scholarships in Germany for Development Related Postgraduate Courses

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers fellowships for postgraduate studies in Germany and Europe.  The DAAD Scholarship Plan provides financial support for students studying development-related subjects in Germany or Europe.

There are a number of different scholarships available in this scholarship program, including the DAAD International Masters Scholarship, DAAD Study Abroad Scholarship, and DAAD Internship Scholarship.

The DAAD International Masters Scholarship is designed for students who have completed their undergraduate degree in an unrelated field but wish to pursue a master’s degree in development studies. The DAAD Study Abroad Fellowship is available to students who want to study a development-related subject at a university in Germany or one of the ten participating European countries.  The DAAD Internship Fellowship is offered to students who wish to undertake an internship in an organization working with the promotion of sustainable development.

To be eligible for a DAAD fellowship, applicants should be citizens or nationals of one of the participating countries and have demonstrated financial require.  Applications for DAAD scholarships are accepted from February 1 to March 31 each year.

  Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program

The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program provides scholarships to outstanding graduate students at universities in Japan.  The program offers a $25,000 scholarship for two years and a renewable scholarship for two more years.  Students should be studying in a field related to development economics or management.

  Agropolis Foundation – Doctoral Fellowships

The Agropolis Foundation is a German foundation that offers doctoral fellowships in agricultural sciences.  The foundation awards three-year fellowships to promising researchers who have completed their doctorate in the last five years.  The fellowship covers tuition and compulsory research expenses, as well as a monthly allowance of €2,000.
